Captain Gunjan Dua’s impeccable journey started from 2009 after acquiring the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) to fly in South Africa along with India. Soon after starting flying in South Africa her immense pool of talent got her an opportunity to become a Flying Instructor alongside her core Pilot job.
Captain Gunjan Dua’s learning curve never took a pause, after completing B’tech and MBA in operations, Capt. Gunjan Dua became a pilot and got a professional certification in Safety Management from Crankfield, South Africa.
In her 15 years of experience in the air, she flew charter planes, played a great deal for making new pilots as a flying instructor for 11 years. Her responsibilities didn’t stop here as she also was a chief ground instructor and safety manager in the later years of her career.
Capt. Gunjan Dua’s talent was recognised in different ways, as she won cross country flying competition at AUAA, South Africa. Also, she was awarded as best navigation Instructor at AUAA, South Africa. She also made her loved ones proud even in her absence in India. She was awarded as a leading lady and the award was facilitated by Captain Ajay Yadav (Minister of Power, Forests & Environment, Govt of Haryana, and Member of Legislative assembly) in 2008.
Captain Gunjan Dua got cross border and international recognition when later she started teaching not just flying but also its subjects to international students from Nigeria, Iran, Egypt, India, UAE, South Africa, Sudan and Tanzania.
